His Excellency Mr. Adel AL-JUBEIR, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will deliver a conference at the Egmont Royal Institute for International Relations in Brussels on Tuesday July 19, 2016 entitled
Saudi Arabia and Regional Issues: Challenges and Perspective
The S. A. Embassy in Belgium and the Egmont Royal Institute for International Relations have issued invitations to a number of senior Belgian officials, members of the diplomatic corps and members of the European Commission and the European Parliament and the North Atlantic Treaty (NATO), as well as to academics, intellectuals and media professionals. The Egmont Royal Institute for International Relations, which was established in 1947, is an independent think-tank based in Brussels and is considered as one of the most important intellectual centers in Belgium and on the European level as well, it conducts studies and academic research fully autonomously, drawing on the expertise of its own research fellows, as well as that of external specialists, both Belgian and foreign, in addition to offering courses and workshops for professionals.
It is a privileged forum of Heads of State and Government and representatives of international organizations and foreign ministers who are visiting Brussels.
The institute is associated to the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Institute board of directors includes a number of ministers from the Belgian government. The institute General Director, Ambassador Marc Otte, is the director of Policy Planning in the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
