On the occasion of the return of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Saudi to his homeland from his convalescence trip, H.E. Mr. Saleh Bin Mohammed Al-Ghamdi, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Greece & Bulgaria, made the following statement:

“On the occasion of the return of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the homeland safe and sound after undergoing a surgery in the U.S.A., I have the honour to extend, on my behalf and on behalf of my colleagues in the Embassy as well as the resident or visiting Saudi citizens, our pray to God the Almighty to preserve King Abdullah who is an asset to his great country and people. May Allah rejoice the humanitarian King and builder of the country’s glory and embrace him with His perpetual care in order for him to continue his march for the glory of the country and to elevate its people to the highest levels of progress and pride under the banner of Islam for the achievement of the principles laid down by the founder of this unique entity, late King Abdulaziz Bin Abdul Rahman Al Faisal.

The leader of the march has thankfully returned, wreathed with the crown of health, to his country and people who longed to see him, for he is the King of hearts and is widely beloved inside and outside our dear country.

Our rejoice and joy at the Embassy for his return, is beyond description and can only be compared with the joy felt by the siblings at the return of their father. We ask Allah the Almighty to protect and preserve the leader of the nation and holder of its banner, and to guide his steps for the benefit of our dear country and people.

Welcome to our Commander and King and builder of modern renaissance; welcome to the messenger of peace and goodness in our region and the world.”
