H.E. the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Mr. Saleh Al-Ghamdi was awarded a memorial shield by the University of Indianapolis, Athens, in recognition of his efforts in promoting knowledge through the open lecture on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia which he delivered to the students of the university at its Cultural Centre in Athens. This award ceremony coincided with the annual commencement exercises of the University on June 1, 2011. The ceremony was attended by several foreign ambassadors, a number of prominent Greek citizens, as well as parents of the graduate students.
