​   22 November 2019, the ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Kenya, the non-resident ambassador to the Republic of Somalia, Dr. Mohamed Abdulghani Khayat, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Somalia, Mr. Ahmed Awad, at the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Somalia in Mogadishu. Views were exchanged, issues of common interest discussed, and ways to develop bilateral relations between the two countries were discussed.
