The Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia would like to confirm that it has recieved a number of complaints from individuals, within the Muslim community in South Africa, regarding visas for Umra not being granted. Moreover, some of the complainants have accused the embassy as being responsible for those unintended inconveniences.
Its hugely important for the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia to clarify that some individuals and travel agencies are falsely cheating the Muslim community by contracting them despite the fact that these agencies/individuals are not registered with the embassy. Therefor, the embassy would like to inform the public that only the following agencies are currently registered and approved by the embassy:

The Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia would like to note that Hajj and Umra visas are granted absolutely free of charge. The embassy calls upon the Muslims, who are planning to perform Umra, to contact the abovementioned agencies which are also registered IATA agents. In due course, the names of the approved agencies will be provided on the embassy's website.
The Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia re-affirms the full intentions of the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to provide all the required facilitations to the entire citizens of South Africa, including the Muslim community, in order to promote and enhance the relationship between the two friendly countries.
