On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and defense Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the Second Deputy Prime Minister, and Chancellor and Special Envoy of the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques, His Royal Highness Prince Muqrin Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and the government and people of Saudi Arabia, the Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations- New York, H.E. Ambassador Abdallah Y. Al-Mouallimi, conveyed their sincere congratulations to the Governor-General of Grenada, Dr. Dame Cecile, and the friendly people of Grenada on the occasion of Grenada's 40th anniversary of their Country's independence. During his stay in Saint George, Ambassador Mouallimi met with the Prime Minister, Dr. Keith Mitchell, to whom he conveyed the greetings, congratulations, wishes of advancement and prosperity from the Saudi leadership, government, and people on this occasion. In addition, both parties discussed issues of importance and means of strengthening relations and cooperation between their two friendly countries.
Moreover, Ambassador Mouallimi met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Business, Nickolas Steele, and conveyed to him the sincere greetings of the Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs, His Royal Highness Prince Saud Al-Faisal; and discussed some issues of importance for both countries.
Ambassador Mouallimi stated that during the meetings, the Governor-General, the Prime Minister, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs highly appreciated the Kingdom's participation in Grenada's commemoration of its independence; and expressed their appreciation for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Crown Prince, the Second Deputy Prime Minister, and the people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
