The Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Singapore held on Thursday September 21, 2017, a reception on the occasion of the anniversary of the 87th National Day for the unification of the Kingdom and the forty-year anniversary of the start of diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Singapore. The guest of honor is His Excellency Dr. Muhammad Maliki bin Osman, Senior Minister of State at the Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The reception was attended by a number of Singaporean officials, heads of diplomatic missions, Islamic societies and centers, embassy employees and offices attached to them, and Saudi citizens and students in Singapore.
