The Saudi Arabian Trade Office celebrated World Arabic Language Day 2024, with an event that included an exhibition showcasing significant Arabic contributions translated into Mandarin.
The celebration was held at the Chiang Kai-shek National Center in collaboration with the National Central Library, the Arabic Department of National Chengchi University, and the Arabic section of Radio RTI, as part of the Reading Festival 2024.
The event witnessed the active participation of the directors of the Jordanian and Omani Commercial Offices in Taipei, along with distinguished attendance from the heads of Islamic missions, representatives of institutions focused on the Arabic language, prominent figures from the Arab and Islamic communities, as well as academics, students, and enthusiasts.
The celebration coincided with the Reading Festival 2024 in Taipei, where the Saudi Arabian Trade Office in Taipei participated in the Saudi Tent for Arabic Reading. The participation included distributing the latest issues of (Arabian Manga) magazine, as well as introducing the Arabic camel through storytelling and engaging activities for children.
