​​His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf bin abdulaziz Al-Saud ; Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the United Kingdom , visited ( Heathrow Airport ), this morning, where he had a tour of a Saudi Arabian Airlines “ Saudia “ Boeing 777 which had a comprehensive enhancement and interior re-design to prepare it for service between the two Kingdoms .

During the visit, HRH said that he was impressed with the innovation ideas, enhanced services and creative design that formed the components of this comprehensive interior re-design. He also said that he expects these to result in higher levels of comfort and better services to Saudia’s passengers.

Prince Mohammed emphasized that the interior re-design and upgrading of this aircraft represents the comprehensive developmental approach that Saudia is currently adopting in all of its business aspects , under guidance and close supervision from the Chairman of its Board of Directors; HRH Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz. This approach , he added, is not only necessary because of the nature of services Saudia provides , but also because it significantly increases its competitiveness in the air transportation business, and better prepares this great national enterprise for its soon-to-come privatization, which the Saudi leadership is aiming for in the near future .

At the end of the visit, HRH the Saudi Ambassador thanked Mr.Abdullah Al-Housaini Director of the Saudi Arabian Airlines Offices in the United Kingdom, for arranging this tour, and wished the crew and passengers on the aircraft a comfortable flight and safe arrival.
