Rio de Janeiro, Shawwal 28, 1437, August 02, 2016, SPA -- The flag of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia was hoisted on Tuesday at the residence of the sports missions in the Olympic Village in Rio de Janeiro, in Brazil, in order to participate in the Summer Olympics Games in Rio de Janeiro 2016.
The flag was hoisted in the presence of Chief Executive of the Saudi Olympic Committee Engineer Hussam bin Ali Al-Qurashi, some of administrative members of the Saudi delegation and a number of Saudi players.
In remarks on the occasion, Al-Qurashi expressed his pride in the Saudi participation in the Olympic Games, stressing the ability of the Saudi athletes to achieve an honorable level.
