His Excellency Abdulrahman Bin Suleiman Al AHMED, Ambassador of the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques to the Kingdom of Belgium, and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and head of the Kingdom Mission to the European Union, has headed the Saudi Arabia delegation participating in the meeting of the GCC-EU political experts' dialogue held on Thursday, April 14, 2016 in Brussels, the Belgian capital.

The meeting was chaired by His Excellency Dr. Ahmed Sulaiman Al-Aquil, Director General of the European Department at the Saudi Foreign Ministry, and with the attendance of His Excellency Dr. Abdel Aziz Aluwaisheg, the GCC Assistant Secretary General for Foreign Affairs and Negotiations, and with the participation of Their Excellencies, Ambassadors of the Gulf Cooperation Council, accredited to the Kingdom of Belgium and to the European Union.

On the European side, the meeting was co-chaired by His Excellency Nick Westcott, the Managing Director for Middle East and North Africa at the European External Action Service, and in the attendance of experts and senior officials from all 28 European Union countries. The two sides discussed progress in GCC-EU relations; they also exchanged views on regional and international issues and ways of improving them. They reviewed as well a number of topics of mutual interest and discussed ways to enhance cooperation and developing relations.
