The Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Greece Mr. Saleh Bin Mohammad Al-Ghamdi participated on February 1^st, 2010 in the conference organized by the renown institution, Economist Conferences for Greece and Cyprus.

H.E. the Prime Minister Greorge Papandreou and several of his Ministers participated in the Conference. The Prime Minister delivered a speech explaining the policy of his government and country to face the International Financial Crisis in addition to the problem of Greece’s huge debts.

Professor Mr. Joseph E. Stiglitz from Columbia University and a Nobel economics laureate for the year 2001 was also present at the conference. In his speech professor Stiglitz referred to the world’s financial situation and its causes as well as the solutions he proposes to navigate out of it.
