The emergency meeting of Arab foreign ministers concluded today. Prince Saud al-Faisal, the foreign minister headed the delegation of the kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the meeting.

In a statement issued following the meeting, the Arab ministerial council of foreign ministers condemned Israel's aggression on Lebanon which contravenes all international resolutions, laws and norms. The council called on UN Security Council to take a prompt resolution to comprehensively cease fire and lift Israeli siege of Lebanon.

The council also condemned Israeli aggressions on the Palestinian territories which are considered war crimes and crimes against humanity.It greatly regretted a veto used by the United States of America to protect Israeli aggression and abort the UN Security Council's responsibilities of maintaining security and peace in the Palestinian territories.
