​   11 October 2019, the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Kenya, Dr. Mohamed bin Abdulghani Khayat, held a reception on the occasion of the 89th National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The ceremony was attended by a representative of the Kenyan government, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Political and Diplomatic Affairs Amb. Tom Amolo, Minister Rafael Tojo Secretary of the ruling Party Jubilee, the Minister of Culture and Youth, the Minister of East African Affairs and the Minister of Labor, the Minister-designate Finance, the majority leader in Parliament, the Chief of Staff, a number of MPs, politicians and the sister of  his excellency the Kenyan President and ambassadors accredited to Kenya. The ambassador delivered a speech on this occasion, through which he expressed the most sincere congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul-Aziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdul-Aziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense. The ambassador also reviewed the relations between the two countries and the support provided by the Kingdom to Kenya, including development projects and a number of food aid, the most recent of which was the Kingdom's recent support of $ 200,000 at the anti-terrorism conference held in Kenya.
