All visa applications must be submitted through an Authorized Visa Agent

Every applicant has to meet these requirements
Submit fully completed Visa Application Form for all applications, either typed or neatly written in block letters
Two (2) recent passport size photographs must be loosely attached (not stapled) to the application form, Photographs should be approx. 3x4 cm in size and taken against a white or very light background
Provide Machine Readable Passport (MRP), which must be valid for at least six (6) months from the application date and the passport has got at least two pages free, showing the applicant's full name and date of birth
Comply with all the instructions applicable to your specific visa type
Failure to comply fully with all relevant instructions may result in return of your application without a visa
Processing of the application might take up to 24 hours

Businessman Visit
In addition to the previous General Instructions
Original letter from your registered Company or Firm based in New Zealand signed and stamped from the Chamber of Commerce. This letter must include reference to: Applicants position in the Company, the purpose of the visit
Commercial Visit Visa and Working visit Visa
In addition to the previous General Instructions
Provide a copy of invitation letter issued from a Saudi Company directed to the applicant or copy of visa authorization letter issued by the Saudi Foreign Ministry
Original letter from your registered Company or Firm based in New Zealand signed and stamped from the Chamber of Commerce. This letter must include reference to: Applicants position in the Company, the purpose of the visit
Temporary Work Visit Visa
In addition to the above General Instructions
Number and date of your visa authorization issued by the Saudi Foreign Ministry. This should be arranged by the sponsor in Saudi Arabia-
Contract for temporary work signed by the sponsoring company and the applicant-
Original of your degree/diploma-
-Certificate showing at least 2 years prior work experience in a similar/related field of work-
Confirmed return Air ticket
TRANSIT VISA REQIURMENTS
In addition to the previous General Instructions
Applicant should have a confirmed air ticket showing flight details into and out of Saudi Arabia
Applicant must have a valid entry visa to the destination country
Visa Fee: 300 SR
NOTE: a Transit Visa is not required if applicant verifies that the transit period is no more than 12 hours
EMPLOYMENT VISA REQUIRMENTS
In addition to the previous General Instructions
Number and date of your visa authorization issued by the Saudi Foreign Ministry. This should be arranged by the sponsor in Saudi Arabia.
Original, or copy legalized from Saudi Arabia, of the work contract, signed by both employer and employee and attested from Saudi Ministry of foreign Affairs.
Attested work experience letter from the competent authorities.
Attested Original Medical Report Form. A recent passport size photograph must be stapled to this form.
Recent police record, and must be authenticated by the Ministry of Foreign affairs.
Original of your degree/ Diploma, should be attested by the Saudi cultural mission and general consulate of Saudi Arabia.
FAMILY VISIT AND RESIDENCY VISA REQUIREMENTS
In addition to the previous General Instructions
Number and date of your visa authorization issued by the Saudi Foreign Ministry. This should be arranged by the sponsor in Saudi Arabia.
Visa Fee is SR 2000 Family Visit visa.
Originals of proof of relationship to the sponsor (Marriage certificate, birth certificate, etc.)
For Residency visa only: applicants over 16 years old should provide Original Medical Report Form . A recent passport size photograph must be stapled to the form

Note: Immunizition for Meningococcal Meningitis, the applicant sould presents immunizition certificate at least 10 days before arrival to Saudi Arabia and not exceeding 3 years.
HAJJ VISA REQUIREMENTS
APPLYING THROUGH CONTRACT TRAVEL AGENT
All applications for the issue of Hajj visas must be channeled through Contract Travel Agents in New Zealand. A Contract Travel Agent is an agent which has formed suitable contract arrangements with Saudi Arabian counterparts licensed to provide transportation and accommodation services to pilgrims entering Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj. The Contract Travel Agent should submit to the Consulate the list approved through the Ministry of Hajj in advance.
Hajj VISA APPLICATION
Complete visa application form using CAPITAL LETTERS and fill in all spaces. All names must be shown as they appear in the passport. Include two recent passport size color photograph with a white background and ensure your passport has a minimum validity of six months. If children are entered in their parent's passports, the child's photograph must be affixed in the passport
Forward certificate from Medical Practitioner stating that the pilgrim is in good health, is free from contagious disease and had immunization against MENINGITIS - ACYW 135
Include reference from any recognized Islamic Society or Centre certifying that the applicant is a Muslim
An ORIGINAL confirmed non-refundable airline ticket is to be stapled to the inside cover of each passport. Please also supply a photocopy of the airline ticket attached with the application form
Please note there is no fee applicable to the issue of the Hajj visa
FOREIGN PASSPORT HOLDERS FOR Hajj and Umrah only
Holders of foreign passports must have a valid residency permit showing at least one year prior residency in New Zealand
Diplomatic staff must submit an Official Note from their Embassy in New Zealand and a photo of their diplomatic ID requesting the issue of a Hajj visa

There are three basic categories of documents that the Consulate of Saudi Arabia will legalize. They are
Export documents – Halal meat (Free of charge)
Export documents – To Saudi Arabia (Free of charge)
Non-export related documents SR 30
The Consulate of Saudi Arabia in Auckland will legalize documents for exports of New Zealand origin products to be landed in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Bahrain only. Products for export to other countries will need to be legalized by the relevant Embassy
The fee for each document to be legalized is SR 30
Each set of documents must be forwarded under a covering from the export company detailing exactly what is to be legalized, provide copy of each document to be legalized for retention in the consulate records. Export documents for Saudi Arabia is free of charges and can be sent directly to visa and legalization department, and provide a self-addressed, pre-paid return express post or courier satchel, taking into consideration all the above mentioned requirements. For other documents to be legalized for Bahrain and Qatar, and all the non-export documents, should lodged through one of our authorized legalization agents
All documents to be legalized must be original documents, or copies that have been certified true and correct by a Notary Public (Export documents) and both a Notary Public and DFAT (non-export documents)
All export documents must bear a stamp and signature of a recognized signatory from a Chamber of Commerce registered with the Consulate
Failure to meet with any of these requirements may delay the processing of documents or cause them to be returned without processing
Halal Meat Exports
The minimum documentation to be provided for the legalization of shipments of Halal meat to Saudi Arabia are as follows
CERTIFICATE OF ORIGIN – must be in the format of the Chamber of Commerce and show the complete name and address of the manufacturer, be signed by the Company representative and stamped and signed by a registered officer of the Chamber of Commerce, certifying that products are of New Zealand origin. The Port of Discharge and the Final Destination mentioned in the certificate must mention only one port. A Certificate of Origin must always be accompanied by a Commercial Invoice for legalization. In instances where goods are produced overseas but are leaving a New Zealand port, a Certified Declaration of Origin must be provided
COMMERCIAL INVOICE - must be signed by the Company representative, and bear the stamp and signature of a registered officer of the Chamber of Commerce. A Commercial Invoice must always be accompanied by a Certificate of Origin for legalization
Other Exports
The minimum documentation to be provided for the legalization of shipments of non-Halal exports to Saudi Arabia are a Certificate of Origin and a Commercial Invoice (as described above for Halal exports). Goods produced in other countries must be certified by the Saudi Arabian Consulate with jurisdiction for that country
Other documents associated with the shipment of edible products such as Shipping Certificate, Insurance Certificate, Phytosanitary Certificate, Declaration as to Condition, Health and Dioxin Certificate, Radioactivity and Health Certificate, ISTA Certificate, etc., may also be legalized subject to all documents bearing endorsement from a registered Chamber of Commerce
A New Zealand company exporting overseas-produced goods, whereby the goods are leaving from an overseas port into Saudi Arabia, must submit a New Zealand invoice accompanied with an original Certificate of Origin legalized by the Saudi Embassy from that overseas company
Other documents associated with the export of products may also be legalized subject to all documents bearing endorsement from a registered Chamber of Commerce
Non-Export Documents
Such documents include power of attorney, company registration, contractual agreements, marriage and birth certificates, deed of assignment, appointment of agent, trade mark and patent registration and agreement, Certificate of Analysis, Statutory Declarations, Certificate of Registration, Agency agreement, etc. (Please note that educational certificates will be certified through the Office of the Cultural Attaché)
All non-export document originals need to be authenticated by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, or copies of documents must first be certified true and correct by a Notary Public. Additionally, documents that are commercial in nature should also be endorsed by a recognized representative of a Chamber of Commerce
