The Royal Embassy of
Saudi Arabia organized Friday, 27 September 2019, 01:00 pm, a Press Conference
with the participation of representatives from the Romanian Ministry of
Tourism, Ministry of Transportation, important Press Agencies as Agerpres,
televisions as Romanian National Television, TVR1, Antena 3, radio channels as
Romanian National Radio News, journalists from the local media and specialized
publications, travel and tourism agencies and also representatives of air
transport companies, as TAROM.
His Excellency Mr. Abdulaziz Al Aifan,
the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Bucharest, presented in his
speech the main characteristics and goals of Vision 2030, regarding the
diversification of the economy, the reduce of the dependence on oil as the main
source of income, by the opening of the Kingdom to visitors and tourists, that
will attract investments and will create new jobs, starting from the diversity
of landscapes, the 5 UNESCO World Heritage Sites and many other treasures to
discover.
During the meeting, it was explain the
electronic visa regime for the countries from the approved list, including
Romania, how to obtain the visa, mentioning that the new visa regime will be
launch today, 07:00 pm, in the historic place of Al-Diriyah, at an important
Historic and International gala event on the occasion of the International Day of
Tourism. Video images of the touristic regions and national heritage sites,
provided by the Saudi Commission for Tourism & National Heritage, were
presented to the public. The audience express its admiration for the national
heritage sites that qualifies the Kingdom as one of the world attractive
touristic destination.

English language and Romanian language.
