​​On behalf of the Custodian of the Two On behalf of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz, H.E. Ambassador Abdallah Y. Al-Muallimi, the Permanent Representative of Saudi Arabia to the United Nations - New York, has participated in the inauguration and presidential-transfer ceremony of the new President-elect of the Republic of Honduras, Attorney / Juan Orlando Hernandez Alvarado. H.E. Ambassador Mouallimi conveyed to H.E. the new president the sincere congratulations of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; the Crown Prince and First Deputy Prime Minister, defense Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; and the Second Deputy Prime Minister, and Chancellor and Special Envoy of the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques, His Royal Highness Prince Muqrin Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud; as well as the sincere congratulations of the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Saudi people to H.E. the new President and the friendly people of Honduras on the occasion of his appointment as new president of the Republic of Honduras. H.E. Al-Mouallimi met with Her Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ms. Mireya Aguero, during the luncheon hosted by H.E. the new president, during which they talked about strengthening relations between their two friendly countries; and Her Excellency Aguero asked H.E. Mouallimi to convey her sincere greetings to His Royal Highness Prince Saud Al-Faisal, Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs. The inauguration ceremony held in the capital, Tegucigalpa, was attended by more than 3,000 invitees.
