The 20th edition of the Great African competition of the Holy Quran in the United Republic of Tanzania was recently Epilogue at the Sports Stadium in Dar es Salaam, where a group of contestants from 20 African countries and from East Africa participated in the event. 
His Excellency the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, John Pombe Magufuli, handed the prizes to the contestants at the end of the ceremony.
The President of the United Republic of Tanzania was honored to have Hon. Sheikh Saleh Al-Sheikh, Minister of State and Member of the Council of Ministers and the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Tanzania, H.E. Mohammed Bin Mansour Al-Malik, and thanked the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for sponsoring and supporting this competition.
On the other hand, Hon. Shaikh Saleh Al-Alsheikh, delivered in his speech at the closing of the ceremony of the Great Africa Competition of the holly Quran, and conveyed the greetings from the leadership, people and scholars of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to their brothers in the United Republic of Tanzania and congratulated them on this great gathering and the honor of serving the people of the Holy Quran. He also thanked the Grand Mufti of Tanzania for his special invitation and thanked Al Hikma Educational Foundation for its efforts in this competition.
The Minister of State said: "I hold on this occasion in the month of Ramadan greetings and appreciation from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, to your Excellency the President, His Eminence Grand Mufti, the  Prime Minister, all the sheikhs, the preservative and keepers of the book of Allah and the people of the United Republic of Tanzania on this blessed occasion.
