The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, coordinated and followed up by the Royal Embassy of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the United Republic of Tanzania, handed over (62) Dialysis Machines for the Tanzanian Ministry of Health to alleviate kidney failure patients in Tanzania and Zanzibar.
The equipment was handed over to the Tanzanian Ministry of Health on Monday 18/06/2019, in the presence of Tanzanian Deputy Minister of Health Dr. Faustine Ndugulile, Deputy Saudi Ambassador to Tanzania Mr. Ahmed bin Saleh Al Ghamdi and a delegation from the King Salman Center.
In turn, the Tanzanian Government valued, appreciated and paid tribute to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, And to the Government and the people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for their generous contribution.
The Deputy Minister of Health stated that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is one of the friendly countries to his country, which always stands by Tanzania. He noted that this donation came at the right time because of a health strategy that was recently adopted to serve Tanzanian citizens in all regions instead of adopting the equipment only in Dar es Salaam, whereby, a number of these equipment will be distributed to several cities and regions in Tanzania.
