Ottawa| September 24, 2024 -- The Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Canada celebrated the 94^th National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Ottawa. Hosted by the Saudi Ambassador, Her Excellency Amal Yahya Almoalimi, the event gathered officials from the Canadian government and members of Parliament as well as a distinguished group of diplomats, business leaders, and members of the Islamic and international organizations accredit to Canada.

Ambassador Almoalimi welcomed the guests with a speech highlighting the rich heritage, history and unity that shaped the modern Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, from the foundation laid by the late King Abdulaziz to the transformative Vision 2030 that aims to diversify the economy, invite innovation and enhance the role of women in society.

In addition, the Embassy welcomed a speech from The Minister of International Development, Honourable Ahmed Hussen, in which he praised the growth and transformation in the Kingdom and acknowledged the role that Canada can play in helping to advance Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 initiative
