The Vice-President of the Republic of India, H.E. Mr. Mohd. Hamid Ansari received on Tuesday 3rd June 2008 the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to India Mr. Saleh Mohd. Al-Ghamdi, who called on the Vice-President to say good-bye to him on completion of his tenure as Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques as he will be leaving soon to the Republic of Greece, the station of his new assignment.
During the meeting that took place at the Vice-President House in New Delhi, the Hon’ble Vice President and the Ambassador also discussed the bilateral relations between the two friendly countries and peoples, lauding the enormous progress in various fields of co-operation and the great transformation that the bilateral relations have witnessed following the visit of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz to India in January 2006.
