In my name and on behalf of all my colleagues at the Saudi Arabian Embassy in Warsaw/ Republic of Poland , I welcome all Saudi nationals , visitors and guests wishing to get acquainted with the various activities of our Embassy and the services it renders, also to provide information regarding the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a friendly Muslim and Arab country that was honored along its history for playing host to millions of pilgrims ,performers of Umra and visitors to the two holy mosques. A country that succeeded in a relatively limited period of time to catch up with the 21st. century and to take its frontline well earned position among other developed nations of the world ,with the help of God , the will of its people under the wise guidance of its leadership. I hope the visitor to the Embassy's web page will be able to get some important key information regarding the Republic of Poland that could be useful to the tourist or resident , also important information to businessmen interested in exploring the commercial and investment potential that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia provides , in addition to what Saudi businessmen could require to study the available opportunities that the Polish economy provides. Also we included some important useful web- links to various competent Authorities in both countries.
I wish to remind all, that bilateral relations between us and Poland go as far as the nineteenth century, when a group of Polish explorers visited several regions of the Arab Peninsula of the present day Saudi Arabia ,fortunately they did not fail to document their visits and experiences. Poland was among a handful of Sovereign Countries that recognized as early as 1929 the newly born Saudi Arabian entity , and the reign of the Founder king Abdul Aziz Bin Abdul Rahman Al- Saud. Bilateral relations did not cease to develop and flourish ever since, except for a period of interruption due to the geopolitical circumstances arising from WW2
Both the Presidential visit to the Kingdom in 2004 and the subsequent Royal visit in 2007 of King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Al- Saud , culminated various other official visits dedicated to develop and strengthen relations between the two friendly countries in many fields of commerce , economy , investments , sports and others. We must not forget that today there are hundreds of students from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia pursuing their higher education in the elite Polish Universities in specializations of medicine , engineering , IT and others.
The assets that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Poland possess is a driving force for us at the Saudi Arabian Embassy to clarify and inform about those great potentials, let alone develop and strengthen them.
