Prince Mohammed bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, the Saudi ambassador to the United Kingdom, and Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabee'a, consultant at the royal court and secretary general of Riyadh-based King Salman relief and humanitarian works center, held consecutive meetings here today with a number of British government-run and non-government relief agencies to discuss matters related to relief and humanitarian works that would help in alleviating the impact of crises following natural disasters or wars.
The Saudi side briefed the British side on the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's policies and activities in the field of relief and humanitarian field.
During a meeting held at the ministry of international development with members of the British national security council, the strategic aspects of the British foreign policy as regards the humanitarian issues in Syria and Yemen were discussed, with the United Kingdom confirming its commitment to work with the GCC countries through exchange of visits to achieve the announced goals.
Another meeting was held with non-governmental agencies to discuss issues of mutual concern in the field of humanitarian and relief works.
