The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has taken part in the meetings of the board of the International Maritime Organization held, recently, here on 5-9 Dec., with a delegation led by Dr. Rimaih bin Mohammed Al-Rimaih, the Head of the Public Transport Authority.
The meetings discussed numerous issues related to maritime shipping, overseas' safety, protecting maritime environment and main and sub-committees' reports, in addition to adopting new administrative as well as financial regulations.
On the other hand, Dr. Al-Rimaih paid a visit to Prince Mohammed bin Nauwaf, the Saudi Ambassador to the United Kingdom and briefed him on the meetings and the role of the Kingdom, at arenas related to maritime shipping.
