Flag
The National Flag of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam is rectangular in shape, its width is equal to two thirds of its length, in the middle of fresh red background is a bright five-pointed golden star. The red in the flag symbolizes to communism in Vietnam and to the blood of the people who have sacrificed for their country and the Golden Star with five points represents intellectuals, peasants, workers, traders and soldiers.
Geographical location
Vietnam is located in the Indochina Peninsula in Southeast Asia and is bordered by China to the north, Laos and Cambodia to the west and the East Sea (South China Sea) to the east.
Area
The total area of the country is more than 331 thousand square kilometers, including about 327,480 square kilometers of land and approximately 4,200 square kilometers of water with more than 2,800 islands. The North of Vietnam is located in a tropical monsoon climate area, the year is divided into four seasons, including the spring and summer and autumn and winter while the South is located in the tropical climate area and the year is divided into two seasons: the dry season and the rainy season
