Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud extended condolences to the loyal Saudi people and the Arab and Islamic nation on the death of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
This came in a speech by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz who highlighted the merits of the late king in serving Islam, homeland, people and causes of the Arab and Islamic nations.
King Salman asked Allah to bestow His mercy and peace on the lae king and reward him with best rewards for his outstanding work in the service of his religion, homeland and nation.
King Salman also asked Allah to bestow patience on all.
Following is the text of the speech:
In the name of Allah, the Merciful and praise be to Allah who says "Everyone upon the earth will perish. And there will remain the Face of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor."
Peace and blessings be upon His Messenger Muhammad and his companions:
With hearts believing in Allah's predestination, and filled with sadness and grief, I extend condolences to the loyal Saudi people and the Arab and Islamic nation on the death of the late dear of the nation Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, whom passed away after he spent his life seeking his God's obedience, bolstering his religion and then serving his nation and people and defending the causes of the Arab and Islamic nations.
We ask Allah to bestow His mercy and peace on him and reward him with best rewards for his outstanding work in the service of his religion and then homeland and nation.
We also ask Allah to bestow on us patience and reward us and we only say in this calamity what we are ordered by Allah to say: "Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return."
Dear brothers and sons, the citizens:
As Allah has willed that I shoulder the great trust, I ask Him to give me His help and guidance and ask Him to show us right and help us to follow it, and to show us falsehood and help us to avoid it. We will continue by the grace of Allah and His strength to cling to the sound course followed by the state since its inception at the hands of the founder late King Abdulaziz and his late sons after him, and we will never deviate from it as our Constitution is the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Prophet peace be upon him.
Brothers:
Our Arab and Islamic nation is in dire need today for its unity and solidarity. We will continue in this country - that Allah has honored with choosing it as the platform for His message and the Qibla of Muslims - our march in exerting all that boosts unity and the defense of our nation's causes, guided by the teachings of the true Islamic religion which Allah has chosen for us as it is the religion of peace, mercy and moderation.
I ask Allah to guide me to serve our dear people and realize their hopes, and to preserve our country's and our nation's security and stability, and to protect it from all evils. He is able to do that and there's no strength except with Allah.
