Relations
between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the European Union are more than 50
years old, and the importance of the European Union and its role in the world,
and in the interest of the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques
King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud - The Kingdom's foreign policy was crowned
by the opening of the Kingdom's mission to the European Union in Brussels in
January 2018.
The
Kingdom has deep and solid relations in all fields such as intensive political
dialogue, economic, trade, cultural, educational, tourism, humanitarian and
parliamentary cooperation, as well as promoting a culture of moderation,
tolerance and cooperation in combating terrorism, extremist thought, energy
security, sector development, conflict prevention and regional and
international peace.
