     Morocco plays a vital role in international relations in general and in the Arab and Islamic worlds in particular. Morocco takes a lead in numerous global and  Islamic issues and questions, such as the Palestinian question.
     The Saudi – Moroccan relation is cemented by strong bonds between the custodian of the Two Holly Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdul-Aziz and His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco. These bonds reflect the quality of relation between the peoples and governments of the two countries and the keenness of the two states to attain the joint interests  of their citizens within the framework of their Arab and Islamic heritage.
