The
Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Australia and New Zealand
H.E. Nabil Al Saleh met Lt Gen Rt Hon Sir Jerry Mateparae, the Governor-General
of New Zealand, on the sidelines of the official celebrations of Waitangi Day
commemorating the signature of Waitangi Treaty, which is considered the
founding document of New Zealand.
High-level
officials from New Zealand attended the celebrations as well as Ambassadors and
Representatives of Diplomatic Missions. H.E. Ambassador
Al Saleh conveyed the regards and consideration of the Custodian of the Two
Holy Mosques King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince, and Deputy
Crown Prince and their wishes for plenty of health and happiness to the
Governor General and for continued advancement and prosperity to the Government
and People of New Zealand.
The
Governor General in turn conveyed his regards and wishes for health and
happiness to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Crown Prince, and
Deputy Crown Prince, and for the Saudi People continued advancement and
prosperity.
