Sydney, Sept 6, Saudi Ambassador to Australia Hassan Bin Talat Nazer toured here Islamic colleges and institutions and met with their directors and teaching staff members to get acquainted with their development schemes in various fields.
He also participated in the inaugural ceremony of the new premises of King Faisal Islamic college in Obren district in Sydney which was also attended by Australian Prime Minister John Howard.
In an address at the ceremony, Ambassador Hasan expressed his satisfaction over the support extended by Australian Government to Islamic schools in Australia.

He also toured King Fahd Islamic college and highlighted its efforts and stressed the significance of education in constructing cultural links and displaying the civilized perspective of tolerance in Islam.
"The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of the Custodian of Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdul-Aziz has been helping in setting up educational establishments to serve Muslims and to preserve their Arabic language and their noble Islamic identity," the ambassador said.
