H.E the Ambassador Of KSA to Australia and New Zealand Mr .Hassan Talaat Nazir attended the Australian Federation of Islamic Councils ceremony on his honour at the Grand Hall of King Fahd Islamic College in Sydney.

Many Australian dignitaries including The Minister For Western Sydney and Member of NSW Legislative Council for Auburn Mrs. Barbara Perry , Chairman of NSW Community Relations Commission Mr. Stephan Kerkyasharian were present together with a big gathering of Muslim & Arabic organizations officials and Saudi Arabian students in Australia.

In her remarks The Minister For Western Sydney Mrs. Perry acknowledged the important role that The KSA under the leadership of The Custodian Of The Two Holy Mosques King Abdella Ibn Abdel Aziz is playing in both regional & international arenas as well as the great efforts in establishing a number of schools and educational institutes in Australia.

She also acknowledged the Saudi Arabian support to the Arabic & Muslim communities in Australia.
Chairman of CRC in NSW Mr. Kerkyasharian hailed the great efforts that H.E the ambassador is exerting in developing the Saudi –Australian relations and strengthening the ties with the Australian communities.
In his speech The Ambassador Mr. Nazir thanked the Organisations & the dignitaries who honoured him .He commended the strong ties between KSA and Australia .

He signaled the importance of the Islamic Community consolidation and the necessity of adopting a positive , open minded and moderate approach.

He advised the community members to refrain from negatively portraying themselves & their community image in the Australian Society .
He affirmed the essential principles of the Government of the Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques King Abdella Ibn Abdel Aziz policy and it’s bases of moderation ,tolerance and openness linked to the noble intentions and great high goals. He noted that these principles gained the KSA and the Saudi people the respect of the peace loving peoples and countries.
