The Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Ottawa hosted an engaging evening to mark the World Arabic Language Day 2024. The event brought together Canadian officials, members of diplomatic missions, academics, and representatives of the Arab community in Canada.

A dialogue session was held with prominent figures in the Arab –Canadian community, emphasizing the role of Arabic language in fostering understanding and cultural exchange, while breaking down barriers of communication between people. In her speech, Ambassador Amal Yahya Almoalimi highlighted the importance of the Arabic language as a tool for cultural communication among nations and civilizations. She underlined the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's leading role in promoting the Arabic language globally through comprehensive initiatives. The Ambassador also emphasized the value of cultural dialogue and the Kingdom's efforts to elevate the international standing of the Arabic language.
