The Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Republic of India, H.E. Mr. Faisal Hassan Trad paid a working visit to the Saudi Consulate General in Mumbai where he was received by the Consul General H.E. Mr. Abdulla Al-Eissa and other officials and staff members of the Consulate. The Ambassador listened to a detailed presentation from the Consul General on the working of the Consulate and the new system that has been put into effect to ensure smooth functioning and speedy processing of all categories of visas. The Ambassador also saw the progress of the renovation work of the Consulate building which will hopefully redouble its productivity.
At the end of the visit, the Ambassador put on record his appreciation of the Consul General and his colleagues for their tangible efforts towards serving the Saudi nationals and facilitating the issuance of all categories of visa, as the total number of visas issued since the beginning of the year 2009 has reached around six hundred thousand. Ambassador Trad wished them all good luck and continued effort in serving the religion, the King and the homeland.
