Indian Vice President Mohammed Hamid Ansari received here today Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Riyadh Province and the accompanying delegation currently on a visit to India.
The Indian Vice President welcomed Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz on his visit, which reflects deep relations between the two countries that are witnessing steady progress for the interest of the two countries and their friendly peoples.
He recalled his works in the Kingdom when he was the Indian ambassador to Saudi Arabia and said these works had contributed to the enhancement of bilateral relations in many fields.
On his part, Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz expressed his pleasure over visiting India, which is a strategic partner of the Kingdom, noting close relations between the two countries, especially after the visit of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz to India, the visit of Indian Prime Minister to the Kingdom recently, and signing of a number of strategic cooperation agreements.
The Governor of Riyadh Provinceexpressed his thanks for the warm welcome extended to him, wishing progress and prosperity for the Indian Government and people. He also expressed optimism that these bilateral ties would be further strengthened between the two countries in all fields.
