His Excellency Mr. Natwar Singh, the External Affairs Minister of India, accompanied by a number of officials visited the Embassy, representing the Government of India, to offer condolences to the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Mr. Saleh Mohd. Al-Ghamdi, on the passing away of King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz. The Hon'ble Minister also recorded a long note in the book of condolence, praising the glorious deeds of the departed leader and also highlighting the contributions of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abul Aziz and the growing relations between the two friendly countries.

            The Ambassador also received H. E. Mr. K. Rehman Khan, Vice Chairman of Rajya Sabha, who offered his condolences on the demise of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz as a representative of Indian Parliament. He also wrote down a few words in the condolence book.

            A delegation from the Islamic University Darul Uloom Deoband was also received by the Ambassador. The delegation presented condolences on behalf of the University, its teachers and students and prayed that Almighty Allah may cover the departed soul with His Grace and accommodate him in His vast paradise and reward him the best for the services he rendered for his country and the Islamic World.
