The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud received a message from India’s Premier Dr. Manmohan Singh.

 

            The message was handed over to the monarch by India’s Secretary General of National Security Council M.K. Narayanan during  an audience at the monarch’s palace in Riyadh today.

 

            The Secretary General also conveyed to the monarch the greetings of the Indian leadership. In turn, King Abdullah sent his greetings to the Indian leadership.

 

            The audience was attended by Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the Foreign Minister; Prince Miqren bin Abdulaziz, Chief of General Intelligence; Prince Bandar bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Secretary General of National Security Council and India’s Ambassador to the Kingdom, Mohammed Othman Farouk.

 

            Earlier, H.E. Mr. Narayanan left New Delhi for Riyadh on Saturday evening (April 8, 2006) accompanied by Mr. Rajiv Sikri, Secretary (East), Ministry of External Affairs. Saudi Ambassador to India, H.E. Mr. Saleh Mohd. Al-Ghamdi saw them off at the airport in New Delhi.
