The Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Republic of India, H.E. Mr. Saleh Mohd. Al-Ghamdi paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. N. Ravi, Secretary (East), Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India who has recently been appointed in this post. The meeting, which took place a the Ministry of External Affairs in New Delhi, was also attended by the Joint Secretary (Gulf) Mr. Sanjay Singh.
Bilateral relations and matters of mutual interest were discussed during the meeting, including the positive outcome of the 7th Session of Saudi-India Joint Commission meetings, held in New Delhi recently, and the visit of a delegation of 45 Saudi business leaders among them were the representatives of information technology sector in the Kingdom. Both the groups were part of the Joint Commissions delegation headed by the Minister of Commerce and Industry.
The saudi business leaders discussed with their counterparts in the Indian private sector possibilities of further cooperation and joint investments in various fields.
