Saudi Minister of Commerce and Industry Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah met in New Delhi today with Indian Minister of Trade, Industry, and Textiles Anand Sharma.
The meeting discussed aspects of economic and trade cooperation between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and India and ways of strengthening partnerships between business sectors in the two countries.
Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah expressed his appreciation for the decision of Indian government on the cancelation of dumping cases against a number of Saudi propylene products, looking forward that the Indian government considers other cases related to Saudi caustic soda and Hexamail products.
He noted that the volume of trade between the two countries exceeded SR 87 billion in the year 2010.
The meeting was attended by Saudi Ambassador to India, Dr. Saud bin Mohammed Al-Sati.
