   The Consular Section, Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia is pleased to accept legalization of documents/certificates which will be submitted to appropriate authorities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

 
Requirements for legalization:

  1. An original document and its copy.
  2. Payment receipt )which can be obtained on the Enjaz website https://enjazit.com.sa/ after the payment      completion. The payment procedure is shown in the bottom of this page.) The required legalization fee per document is equivalent to 30 Saudi Riyal.
  3. Request letter (must be written in company's official paper and indicate the type of document/certificate, the reason/purpose of legalization request to the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia, the place of submission in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia).

    Important notice:

   -All types of documents and certificates are required to be attested by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan prior to its submission to the Consular Section.
As for Educational Certificates (i.e. certificate of graduation, transcript, etc.), attestation by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan and Saudi Cultural Office is required prior to its submission to the Consular Section.

   -Commercial Documents for export of the products (i.e. certificate of origin, invoice, bill of landing etc.) are required only attestation by Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In case if the legalization of those documents was needed, the Consular Section legalizes the documents for free of charge.

   -Authorization Letters (i.e. Authorization of Agent, Power of Attorney, Agreement and so on) must contain Individual ID Number of an appointee (a Saudi Citizen or a Resident in Saudi Arabia) whose name is indicated on the document, as well as the Company's License Number if the appointee belongs to a private-sector business in Saudi Arabia. If the appointee was not a Saudi Arabia citizen or a resident in Saudi Arabia, write appointee's name and his/her passport number, and submit the passport copy at the time of application.

   -Any types of Medical Documents must be written in Arabic or English.

   -The Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Tokyo has the right to reject any legalization request and takes no responsibility for any damage caused by the rejection.
