General Requirements for all Types of Visas | 1- The original passport, valid for six months, along with a copy thereof. 2- Visa application form on the Unified National Platform for Visas of the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs (https://visa.mofa.gov.sa), 2- Payment of the visa fee and the medical insurance premium on the Unified National Platform (if applicable). 4- Register biometrics at the authorized visa services centre "Tasheer".
NOTE: "Tasheer" is responsible for filling and submitting the visa application form on the Platform on behalf of the visa applicant and colecting the due fees.

Tourism Visit Visa | Australia is within category A of countries with respect to Saudi tourist visas, whereby its citizens are able to obtain a Saudi tourism visa online (E-visa) or upon arrival. Information on tourism in Saudi Arabia and tourism visa applications for Australian citizens can be submitted through the following website https://www.visitsaudi.com/en. In regards to citizens of countries other than category A, they can submit a visa application via the authorized visa services centre "Tasheer" in Canberra or Sydney, who can be contacted via their website https://vc.tasheer.com. In addition to the above general requirements the tourism visit visa requirements for those are as follows: 1- A round-trip ticket including travel itinerary information. 2- A bank statement covering the last 3 months or an endorsed salary statement. 3- A proof of employment certificate, and for students a proof of study certificate from their educational institute. 4- Accommodation booking in the Kingdom. |
Business Visit Visa | 1- The number of the invitation letter from a Saudi company or a copy thereof (if available). 2- An introduction letter issued by the Australian company or the Australian Chamber of Commerce. |
Family Visit Visa | 1- The document number of the Family Visit Permit issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or a copy thereof. 2- Proof of kinship (marriage contract, and birth certificate for children) endorsed. |
Personal Visit Visa | 1- The document number of the Personal Visit Permit issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or a copy thereof. |
Government Visit Visa | 1- The document number of the Government Visit Permit issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or a copy thereof. |
Missions and Organizations Visit Visa | 1- The document number of the Visit Permit issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or a copy thereof. |
Medical Visit Visa | 1- The document number of the Visit Permit issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or a copy thereof. |
Study Visa | 1- The document number of the Study Permit issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or a copy thereof. 2- A police clearance certificate (no prior convictions). 3- A medical examination in accordance with the form approved by the Embassy 4- Endorsed academic certificates. |
Transit Visa | 1- A copy of the entry visa for the country to which you are travelling to or residing in (this does not apply if you are a national of the destination country or are exempt from needing a visa to enter this country). 2- A confirmed airline ticket for the country you are traveling to, that includes a stopover period in the Kingdom of no less than 12 hours and no more than 96 hours. |
Extending the Exit Re-Entry Visa | 1- The document number of the Exit Re-Entry Extension Permit issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or a copy thereof. 2. A copy of the expired Exit Re-Entry Visa indicating the date of exit from the Kingdom. |
Residence Visa | 1- The document number of the Residence Permit or a copy thereof (Exempt from this are children under one year of age who are accompanying their mothers' residents of the Kingdom, as well as the families of those who obtained work visas as doctors or university professors). 2- Proof of kinship (marriage contract, and birth certificate for children) endorsed. 3- A police clearance certificate (no prior convictions) (this does not apply to children). 4- A medical examination in accordance with the form approved by the Embassy. |
Work Visa (Temporary Work) (Seasonal Work) | 1- The document number of the Work Permit or a copy thereof. 2- The electronic authorization from the employer, endorsed by one of the private recruitment offices or the Chamber of Commerce in the Kingdom (this does not apply if the employer is a governmental entity). 3- A medical examination in accordance with the form approved by the Embassy. 4- Academic qualifications and practical experience, endorsed by the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. 5- An endorsed police clearance (no prior convictions). 6- A copy of the work contract, signed by both parties and endorsed. |
